Middle Childhood Moral Development Test - Bandar Tun Hussein Onn 2 Primary School. A few children begin to show evidence of conventional moral reasoning, however, as they begin to grasp the idea that rules are social conventions and they are able to understand things from other people perspectives. At the conventional level, children follow rules because they believe it's important to maintain their personal social standing or the social order as a whole. They are becoming able to see how might view their actions and to understand how their actions and to understand how their actions can affect other people.
